Summit wants to provide our clients with the most knowledgeable employees possible; therefore, we are committed to improving our employees’ talents. We support and encourage our employees to further their skills by financing professional development seminars/classes and offering tuition reimbursement. In addition, Summit offers on the job training, including an in-house training program in our CEI division, as well as cross-training opportunities.

Summit offers a wide variety of benefits to our employees. Full-time employees are eligible for company benefits on the first of the month following 30 days from their hire date. Below are some of the benefits Summit offers our employees.

  • Medical Insurance - Two options to best suit your needs,deducted on a pre-tax basis.
  • Dental Insurance - Voluntary plan, deducted on pre-taxed basis.
  • Vision Insurance - Voluntary plan, deducted on pre-tax basis.
  • Health Savings Account - Voluntary plan to set aside tax-free dollars to cover certain elligible medical expenses.
  • Flexible Spending Accounts - Use pre-tax dollars to cover dependant care/medical care expenses.
  • Term Life Insurance - Summit carries a Life, Accidental Death and Dismemberment policy for full time employees, with option to purchase additional coverage.
  • Disability Program - Voluntary long-term and short-term available to full time employees.
  • AFLAC Insurance - Voluntary plan, deducted on pre-tax basis.
  • Vacation Leave - Paid vacation accrued based on years of service with minumum accrual of two weeks.
  • Sick Leave - 10 accrued sick days per year for full-time employees.
  • Holidays - Full time employees recieve 11 days of Holiday pay.
  • 401(K) – Traditional or ROTH - Matching contributions for employees over 21, after 90 days of service.
  • Bereavement Leave - Paid bereavement time in certain cases.
  • Jury Duty - Partial pay for certain amount of time for jury duty
  • Professional Registration - Summit pays the cost to maintain registrations/certifications needed for your job.
  • Tuition Reimbursement - Summit supports continuing education, therefore we reimburse certain tuition expenses.
  • Boot Reimbursement - Partial reimbursement for safety boots required on projects.
  • Volunteer/Community Service Leave - Summit provides all full-time employees eight hours of paid volunteer/community involvement leave each year.  

  • Service Awards - We have a service award program in place to recognize employees who hit certain milestones with us.  Service awards are given when you hit the following anniversary with us:  1 year, 3 years, 5 years and each 5 year anniversary after that.
