Construction Materials Testing

Summit’s construction materials testing (CMT) branch is composed of engineering technicians certified through the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) and the American Concrete Institute (ACI). Our technicians have been trained in specialized engineering skill sets for sampling and testing of concrete, soils, asphalt, and masonry. They have also achieved personal certifications which meet all North Carolina State Building Code qualification requirements.

Our CMT branch has adopted iPad technology so field technicians can now deliver real-time reports, monitor jobs more efficiently and document projects through pictures. By utilizing iPads, Summit has eliminated using the paper previously required for these duties.
