As lead engineer, we have provided roadway design, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, drainage design, Transportation Management Plans (TMP) and Pavement Marking Plans (PMP), utility coordination and design, surveying and geomatics, geotechnical engineering and project management for 28 bridges and 26 culverts. These projects showcase our ability to provide in-house, full-service multidisciplinary engineering, project management and surveying services for public transportation projects.
In addition to managing our in-house services, we regularly manage subconsultant services for structure design, hydraulic analysis/design, utility coordination and ROW acquisition.
Our Maintenance Management department can perform GIS data collection and condition assessments for all highway assets, not just the road. Currently, we assist with Data Collection in Divisions 3 and 5 for Non-NBIS pipe for NCDOT. The team transmits the gained information to NCDOT to be used for inventory, analyzing and planning purposes.
We led the engineering design for the rehabilitation of 10 miles of interstate in Warren County that stretched to the Virginia state line. As the prime for the team, we provided all roadway design, design coordination, and project management, and we managed subconsultant services for hydraulic/drainage and transportation management plan (TMP) design.
We provided engineering design and survey services to the City of Roxboro for this Locally Administered Projects Program (LAPP) project funded by a Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) grant through NCDOT. The original intersection of Chub Lake Street with Ridge Road and Crestwood Drive had a few design issues that led to dangerous conditions for its frequent commuters.
