We provided geotechnical engineering, Special Inspections and construction materials testing for this three-story, 100,000-square foot, steel-framed building with a reinforced concrete retaining foundation wall which divides the upper and lower elevations of this 60-foot structure. The school building was designed to be a place of learning, support a thriving community and a showcase for the many cultural activities in this vibrant, historic neighborhood.

Our team provided the Geotechnical Engineer of Record, soils and construction materials sampling and laboratory testing, which included inspection of concrete testing, structural steel welding inspections of the steel-braced frames, structural masonry inspections of the cafeteria and auditorium framing walls and reinforced concrete inspections for the column and wall footings, foundation walls and lightweight concrete composite deck slabs.
