Our Maintenance Management department assists NCDOT with their Routine Maintenance Improvement Plan. This is a 3-to-5-year plan identifying specific highway maintenance needs based on budget, location, traffic volumes and other criteria. With these plans, NCDOT can provide long-term maintenance cycles and budget forecasting needs. These plans also simplify the ability to incorporate service contracts for specific tasks such as ditching and pipe replacement as well as administration of such contracts.
Our maintenance management team assists the City of Raleigh with pavement preservation needs assessments. Current projects include crack seal needs and rejuvenation contract administration. Our team utilizes ArcGIS to create map layers and collect crack seal and rejuvenation needs data for contract preparation and administration.
Our Maintenance Management department can perform GIS data collection and condition assessments for all highway assets, not just the road. Currently, we assist with Data Collection in Divisions 3 and 5 for Non-NBIS pipe for NCDOT. The team transmits the gained information to NCDOT to be used for inventory, analyzing and planning purposes.
