PROJECT DESCRIPTION

We are the current Architect of Record for the State Employees' Credit Union. This contract utilizes most of our building and site services, meaning we have provided not only architectural services but also structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, soils and construction materials sampling and laboratory testing, civil/site design, traffic engineering and construction administration.

Our architecture team developed three (3) new prototypes for North Carolina locations ranging from 6,500 square feet to 10,000 square feet. We have either renovated or newly constructed over 45 locations in North Carolina including establishments in Charlotte, Hillsborough, New Bern, North Wilkesboro, Liberty, Fuquay-Varina, Wilmington and Winston-Salem. Each location requires different services and different qualifications which meant our teams quickly learned how to adapt to our client’s needs on the ground.

We provided architectural design, structural and geotechnical engineering and civil/site design services for this proposed 20,000 square-foot (+/-) Class A Office Building located in Hillsborough, North Carolina. The building could potentially hold up to three different businesses in distinctive suites, yet the interiors of those spaces are suited for flexible collaboration between employees.

The Orange County ABC project consisted of designing and constructing a new, 14,250-square-foot warehouse and upfitting the existing office building. This location serves as the storage and central distribution point for all Orange County ABC locations, so it needed to fulfill both its warehouse functions and the necessary office functions in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
